GARDEN MAKEOVER

Today we completed our garden makeover. We've painted the fence, changed grass to gravel and added finishing touches so our garden is ready for family and friends to come over for BBQ's in the Summer. We thought we'd share some photos of our finished garden in hopes to give you some ideas how to update your own garden.
Old Garden
Firstly we moved the trellis down the garden to allow more space and for Mr R and T to have a veggie patch secure from the pooches. We then removed the grass and replaced it with gravel as it's lower maintenance (especially with three spaniels with a tendency to dig).

We moved the garden furniture down the garden onto the gravel to make room for our impending conservatory which should be complete in the Summer. This will become Ragz and Tagz new headquarters and I'm sure we'll show you around once it's complete.

We painted the fence in Cuprinol Seagrass to match the Summer House/Mr R and T's man cave. We'll be adding another coat tomorrow.

We lined the fence with plants and flowers in pots, this means they can be moved easily if you change your mind on the layout, it also makes it slightly more difficult for the dogs to dig them up haha

The raised beds were created by using new sleepers, we drilled and screwed them together into a square and layered two on top of each other to make them higher. At the moment these have a few veggies in them; tomatoes, baby corn, runner beans, pepper and some herbs.

The final details that we added were the oilcloth cushions (made by us and available to buy, please message us on Facebook HERE), modelled by Dottie. These are perfect for the garden because they're waterproof and are more durable than fabric cushions. We coordinated some oilcloth bunting and strung this on the trellis. We also added some tin and wooden signs on the trellis.
